Are Hodor Sign signatures legally binding?+
Yes — for our North American customers. Every signature captures consent, identity, IP, device, and timestamps under the U.S. ESIGN Act and UETA, sealed into a tamper-evident PDF with a hash-chained audit trail and a Certificate of Completion.
Do my signers need an account?+
Never. Signers open a secure link — from email, a signing link, or a device you hand them — review, and sign. They get the sealed PDF by email when everyone's done.
How does in-person signing work?+
Two ways. Pass-around: pick the signer and hand your device over. Controlled sessions: your customer's iPad or phone joins with a 6-character code, and you control exactly which document appears on their screen from your own computer — perfect for showrooms, counters, and closings.
What happens if I go over my monthly documents?+
Nothing breaks. Envelope credits cover the overflow — buy them as you need them, and they never expire.
Is there a contract or setup fee?+
No. Month-to-month, no user minimum, $0 setup. Annual billing is optional and works out to roughly two months free.
